Why even bother with these appraisal interviews? Employees don’t seem to change after we have them anyway. We will identify the benefits of a good performance appraisal. Learn specific checklists to: 1) PREPARE for the evaluation. 2) Decide what to do DURING the interview to make it the most productive. 3) And how to keep the improvements progressing AFTER the conference, with praise, reprimand, and/or redirection. Discover specific problem solving for weakness techniques and solution steps to increase employee skill level(s). Evaluate the advantages of having the employee complete self-appraisal. We will use job specific applications throughout the session to ensure practical applications back on the job.
