Participants will complete the Work Expectations Profile. The learning instrument identifies ten (10) work expectations: Structure, Diversity, Recognition, Autonomy, Environment, Expression, Teamwork, Stability, Balance, and Career Growth. This program discusses ways to reduce the frustration, substandard performance, decreased job commitment and turnover that unspoken or unrecognized expectations can cause in the workplace. It helps individuals to understand how their expectations are influencing their work life. It gives co-workers, supervisors and subordinates a tool for identifying and managing those expectations, so that performance improvements are made.
